The ventresca (tuna belly) is one of the most noble and appreciated parts of the tuna, a tasty and rich meat.
This jar contains only natural products: high quality tuna, olive oil and sea salt from the Barbate area (south of Cadiz).
It’s always a safe bet for an original appetizer with some slices of toasted bread for example, in a tomato salad or prepared on a bed of potatoes.
The soft fillets are extracted from the belly area of the tuna. This process is done by hand, treating the product in the most traditional and natural way possible. Finally, a perfect cooking of the tuna meat and dosage of salt are key points that La Chanca does not neglect.
The olive oil leaves the flavour and flesh of the tuna intact. In its jar, these fillets of tuna meat preserve their nutritional qualities (high protein content and vitamins E and B).
Once opened, it must be kept refrigerated and consumed within 4 to 5 days. It’s better to always cover the product with olive oil.
Note: this product improves with time.
