Corona oro’ Serrano ham. Ham from the Alpujarra, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada. Jamones de Juviles’ brand hams are made in the traditional way from white Serrano ham obtained from pigs of the 75% Duroc breed. Aged for a minimum of 24 months
From pigs of the 75% Duroc breed, a white pig characterised by its intramuscular fat, which makes it a high-quality product with excellent flavour and aroma. 100% natural Serrano ham, with no additives or preservatives.
You can order it 1 - whole with bone, 2 - whole boneless, 3 - boneless and in several pieces. Boned, the ham will be delivered vacuum-packed with a use-by date of approximately one year.
Hams matured for more than 24 months, subjected to controls to guarantee the "Jamón de la Alpujarra" standard.
Made from the legs of female pigs reared on the best farms in the Iberian Peninsula, with only sea salt added and no nitrifying agents or preservatives. Naturally cured in the heart of the Sierra Nevada National Park. The cellars, in the village of Juviles at an altitude of 1250 m, receive the winds from the peaks. These unique features have a decisive influence on the natural curing of the hams, their aroma and the colour of the slices.
The best way to enjoy it is in thin, short slices, and at room temperature. With a good loaf of bread and olive oil. You can also include this tasty ham in recipes.
